Summary
In a new video from Techspot, gaming journalist John Linneman showcases the new graphics features of the PlayStation 5 Pro in the upcoming Spider-Man 2.
The game, which is due for release in October, will support 4K gaming at 120 frames per second, and according to Linneman, the ray tracing capabilities of the PS5 Pro are clearly visible in the game, creating more reflections on the screens of devices, glass and metal surfaces throughout the game’s environment.
The game also offers more details in character skin, and Linneman states that the game’s hero and villain models are packed with more detail, alongside improved textures and lighting effects.
However, the title does not feature any hardware-accelerated HDR, as depicted through the video, where the HDR is turned on and off during gameplay, with a clear visible difference.
