Summary
During this week’s DF Direct, Digital Foundry’s John Linneman discusses his experiences visiting Japan and what he learned from his talks with developers and playing the PlayStation 5 Pro.
It was rumoured that this new console would be Yoshiman’s swan song and it appears it will and with some substantial upgrades, including an utilise solid state drive to provide backward compatibility with PS4 games and give them boosts and allow them to run at higher resolutions.
Nintendo Alarmo has everyone curious, but it currently only has a Japanese database and no one knows exactly what it’s for.
With the new Alien Isolation on the horizon, speculation is flying about what form it will take and if it will be a proper sequel or a VR-only experience.
Intel’s Lake Arrow CPU line-up has John baffled, as it appears to be nothing but a spec bump and doesn’t seem to solve any of the problems that the 13th generation of CPU’s are supposed to solve.
