A teaser trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 indicates that the new console will be larger than the original Switch, but Nintendo has not published specific dimensions for the device.
Using measurements for the original Switch Joy-Cons and Photoshop pixel counting, analysts have estimated that the Switch 2 hardware includes a 7.9-inch screen (measured diagonally), a 33% increase in tablet footprint compared to the original Switch, and 26% larger diameter joysticks on the Joy-Cons.
The analysts also estimated the width of the Joy-Cons when their extended magnetic rails are deployed.
