Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti review: An RTX 4080 for $749, at least in theory

Summary
Nvidia has released its latest GPU, the RTX 5070 Ti, which is its most affordable gaming graphics card to date starting at 749,dwarfedbythe1,199 RTX 4080 released in 2022.
While the card is an improvement on the outgoing RTX 4070 Ti and 4070 Ti in terms of price and performance, it is still priced far above historical norms for decent performance, at over twice the cost of the RTX 3070 Ti release in 2020.
The RTX 5070 Ti performs closely to the RTX 4080 and is capable of native 4K gaming without the need for DLSS or 4K upscaling, but its cost is still too high for the performance, with better value likely to come from AMD’s imminent Radeon 90-series launch.
Also, supplies of the card are already selling out at US retailer Newegg, implying that the sticker price is even less realistic than normal.
