Summary
The Triple-I Initiative’s annual showcase of games created by small studios or solo developers took place this week, with a focus on “no ads, no hosts, no sponsors, just games”.
Last year’s showcase included appearances from Norland, Slay the Spire 2, and The Rogue Prince of Persia, alongside updates from Darkest Dungeon 2, Palworld, and Vampire Survivors.
This year, attendees were treated to appearances from Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, The Alters, and Endless Legend 2 amongst many others.
Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, published by Ghost Ship Games, unveiled a new trailer and announced a closed alpha test, which is accessible on the game’s Steam page.
Meanwhile, Amplitude Studios revealed that Endless Legend 2, the sequel to the game that expertly incorporated randomness into a 4X strategy framework, will arrive in summer via an early access release.
Those eager to try Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, a turn-based game set in the Might & Magic world of Enroth, will be pleased to hear that it’s available for sign-ups for an early access release at the start of Q2 2025.
