Monster Hunter Wilds' ghastly spider monster is actually key to the game's more approachable design

Summary
A new Monster Hunter game, entitled Monster Hunter Wilds is set to challenge players with horrific beasties from the outset, ostensibly to ease them into the game, reports Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
The monsters, such as the toadlike Chatacabra, the bovine Doshaguma, the Brute Wyvern Quematrice are apparently designed to teach gamers how to play the game through their various attack formations.
For example, the Lala Barina spider monster will force players to learn how to control the camera as it moves out of sight, whilst the move set of the T-Rex crossed with a mosquito, the Rompompolo, will teach players to dodge.
The game has an arachnophobia mode for those who are overwhelmed by the monster mash-ups.
