Summary
Rock, Paper, Shotgun reporter Adam Jensen (not the character from Deus Ex) is happily surprised by the new trailer for upcoming game Hell Is Us.
Due to be released in September 2025, the game is a third-person action-adventure with melee combat, exploration of rundown military areas and supernatural environments, and a narrative focus.
It stars Rémi, voiced by Elias Toufexis, and is developed by Rogue Factor with publishing help from Nacon.
The game’s creative and artistic director is Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, who was art director for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Hell Is Us has been described as “player-plattering”, allowing players to follow their instincts with regard to navigation and exploration rather than using maps or markers.
It resembles a mix of Death Stranding, Alan Wake and Tom Clancy games.
