The setting for the expansion is the snowy city of Krat towards the end of the 19th century, and players will embark on journeys to uncover backstories and face battles that will shape the past and future of the game.
Lies of P was acclaimed by Rock, Paper, Shotgun for being the closest a soulslike had come to the original Dark Souls games from software, the developers Round8 are rumoured to have several other projects in development, including a sci-fi horror game and a sequel to Lies of P.
