Summary
The anime action game ‘Stellar Blade’ has been confirmed for a PC release in June 2025, with the South Korean game studio Shift Up developing and Sony Publishing the game.
Players will battle monsters using combos, parries and gauge-based super moves in an open-world game featuring NPC quest-givers.
The protagonist is similar to Bayonetta played straight, but since its console release, Eve, the protagonist, has become the face of male gamers who objectify women.
This has been exacerbated by one of the downloadable outfits featuring a modest undershirt, leading to cries of censorship from some gamers upset at the reduced amount of skin on show.
The PC version will be optimised for PC and include updates from the console version, like a photo mode, and will launch with the Goddess of Nikke DLC.
