Summary
Management sim Mudborne, from developer TNgineers, is due for release on 20 March, which the developers are branding as World Frog Day.
A portion of the profits from the game will go to amphibian, wetland and environmental charities.
The game follows on from the studio’s previous title, Apico, and is described as a spiritual successor; it combines frog breeding and management with exploration and puzzle-solving.
Players can catch and eat bugs, as well as genetically modify their frogs to create new species, find hats for them and grow exotic mushrooms.
