Summary
Is This Seat Taken? is a new logic puzzle game that challenges players to organise characters according to their seating preferences, says Chris Priestman on Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
Players have a limited number of seats and a bunch of characters with different seating demands, and it’s up to the player to make them all happy by positioning them in the most suitable seats.
It’s a cosy and relaxing game, without any timers or leaderboards, and has a demo available on Steam.
Although it’s a unique idea, Priestman can’t quite put his finger on it, and it’s just surprising and pleasing to encounter a game of this calibre that is so traditionally designed.
