Summary
Independent developer Supergiant has added new features, including Ares, the Greek god of war, and a new creature called Gale, a polecat that increases player mobility, to its rogue-like game Hades 2.
The update includes additional story elements, dialogue and character interactions, and new enemy types, as well as new artwork at the Altar of Ashes.
The studio is now working on a successor update, due in a few months, which will focus on boss battles and character relationships.
There is no indication yet as to when the company will declare the game ready for full release, suggesting it is still very much in the early access stage, over a year after it was first released.
This is the latest in a series of updates designed to give players greater variety and a feeling of progression, Supergiant said.
