Summary
Indie developer Edwin Technology is following up its futuristic horror action RPG Withering Rooms with a new game, Withering Realms, due for release in Q4 2025.
Based in a haunted town in 1926 after an occult event that interrupted the first World War, allowing the dead to walk and roam, it features a ghost girl named Clover who interacts with the world via a customisable combat doll.
Players can expand the game map by defeating perimeter guardians and can return to areas at night to encounter new horrors and secrets.
It features a 3D combat plane and includes a range of implements for the combat doll, including a pivoting greatsword and a chain rock.
The game can be likened to Bloodborne and Lies of P, and is described as ideal for players who enjoyed Withering Rooms.
