Silent Hill 2 remake developer Bloober Team has hinted at a new project in partnership with Konami.
CEO Piotr Babieno said the success of the SH2 remake had led to a new “agreement for a new project” but did not disclose further details.
He added that the deal aligned with the Polish company’s expansion strategy, while stressing that the new project would be “something truly special”.
Silent Hill 1 remake rumours were previously quashed by the developer, so the new game is expected to be either a new entry in the franchise or another remake.
Konami already has several new Silent Hills in development, including a film and a game directed by Hideo Kojima.
