Summary
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, which is set to be released on 28 August, will require a minimum of an RTX 2060 Super graphics card, 16GB of RAM, 100GB of storage space and an Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, Rock Paper Shotgun reports.
This is mainly to support Unreal 5’s Lumen lighting tech, rather than incorporate any ray tracing features.
It will however include the Snake vs Monkey minigame, which will feature Ape Escape characters.
It’s another title to add to the list of games requiring high-end graphics cards, such as Star Wars Outlaws and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle.
With the ongoing GPU shortage, gamers may find it difficult to play the newest titles, with resellers online pricing graphics cards well above RRP to exploit the shortage and high demand.
