Haste: Broken Worlds is silly-fast, momentum-based fun, and there’s a demo out now

Summary
Haste: Broken Worlds sends players careening down hills and through various obstacles at high speeds.
Developed by Landfall, the game follows in the tradition of similar titles such as Tiny Wings and Exo One.
Players must build up speed on downward slopes before launching themselves off raised areas Landfall, the developer behind the frantic truck racing of Clustertruck and the aptly named Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, has announced Haste: Broken Worlds, a super-speedy, momentum-based skating and dashing game full of hazards to swerve, mountains to roll down and general platforming pleasures.
While your speed builds through momentum, there are also upgrades and branching paths to explore in this roguelike.
There’s a demo available on Steam, but Rock Paper Shotgun liked it enough to want to tell you about it.
At its best, Haste is thrillingly kinetic, repeatedly spiking you with the rush of near-missing deathtraps at Mach 1.
Not everything is conducive to that delicious sense of forward velocity, though.
