You'll need to pay to edit your Monster Hunter Wilds character beyond the first free redo

Summary
A new Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter Wilds, has drawn criticism for charging a fee to edit a player’s in-game character.
Players can create and customise their own hunter, and can now do so multiple times via paid voucher packs on offer via Steam.
The fee is in addition to the cost of the game itself, with the Three-Voucher Pack priced at £5.49, €6.99 or $6.99.
While players can customise their character for free via the base game, paid vouchers allow them to change their character’s voice, face and body structure.
Capcom, the developers of Monster Hunter, have form for this sort of opportunism, having loaded its critically acclaimed Dragon’s Dogma 2 with 21 pieces of DLC at launch.
This included paid-for access to items used for fast travel, self-revival and hiring allies.
