Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Founders Editions will be a few weeks late, as punters and sellers brace for launch day shortages

Summary
Despite multiple delays, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 GPU appears to be suffering the same supply issues as the rest of the RTX 50 series when it comes to actual availability for consumers.
According to German tech site Hardwareluxx, Nvidia has notified reviewers that the Founders Edition of the card will not be available until March, with no specific date given.
When the card was originally scheduled to launch in February, UK and Swedish retailers reported that they would not be receiving any stock on day one, with some suggesting they would not be receiving any stock at all.
This contrasts with supplies of AMD’s rival Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT graphics cards, which are reportedly in much healthier shape ahead of their imminent launch tomorrow.
The scarcity of new graphics cards has been attributed to bot-wielding resellers, but the reasons for the shortage of stock in the first place remain unclear.
