However, the law has been criticised by some as a form of censorship, and Apple has argued that it has negative implications for end-to-end encryption.
The solo web developer behind Urban Dead has said that the changes would be extremely difficult to implement and so the game will be taken offline.
Players have 19 years, eight months and 11 days left to enjoy the game, which closes at noon UTC on 14 March.
The game’s developer has not ruled out the possibility of a reboot in the future.
