Summary
A number of videos from the upcoming Battlefield game have appeared on social media, despite the best efforts of EA to remove them ahead of the game’s official release.
The clips, which have since been allowed to remain on social media by EA, give players an insight into gameplay and some of the new features, including enhanced destructibility.
One of the most notable features appears to be the return of the much-loved Assualt, Engineer, Recon and Medic classes, rather than the specialist system that was introduced in Battlefield 4.
There is also a new squad victory animation, as well as the ability to drag downed squad members to safety.
The game is currently in the playtesting phase, with footage confirming that Battlefield Labs is the test programme for the game.
It is not expected to be formally revealed, or possibly even named, until next year.
