Summary
Rock Paper Shotgun’s John Walker discusses the game Celeste and its cancelled sequel Earthblade, which was being developed by Extremely OK Games.
While Earthblade’s cancellation was disappointing, a five-track mini-album of music composed by Lena Raine, which reflects the soundscape of the game, has recently been released.
Raine synthesised a range of influences in creating the album, including the work of Vangelis, Joe Hisaishi and Yoko Kanno, amongst others.
50% of the proceeds from sales of the album will be donated to Trans Lifeline.
