Avowed's latest update comes with community requested features, lots of tweaks, and a promise of a roadmap

Obsidian Entertainment has released a new patch for its RPG adventure game Avowed, which introduces new features and makes adjustments and improvements to the gameplay experience.
One of the key new features is an option for PC players to toggle between walking and running.
The update also adds an FOV slider for third-person camera mode and allows players to lock the compass to always point north.
Players can also customise controller button inputs and increase the font size and apply bold styling to all documents and in-game pop-ups for accessibility.
Additionally, players will receive an extra talent point at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30.
In the coming weeks, Obsidian plans to release a roadmap outlining plans for new content in the coming year. Obsidian has also highlighted that this update includes many more fixes and tweaks not covered in the patch notes. Players are encouraged to share their thoughts on the update in the thread posted on the Obsidian forum.
