9 Kings is a roguelike city builder that's actually just an excuse to launch rocks at people

Summary
9 Kings is a new strategy game, to be released in April, which is essentially a game of tower defence involving rock launching.
Players start with a 9 square grid around a castle and gradually fill the plots by picking cards.
Some of these are buildings, such as a cemetery that summons units to fight, and some are troops who head to the centre of the battlefield.
Players don’t actively control their troops, but they do get to decide when to launch rocks at enemies.
The game has a strong element of combos and strategy, and it will be interesting to see if there’s any lore behind the game’s rock-launching mechanisms.
