Spiritfarer devs release 33 Immortals, the early access co-op hellraiser that plays like an MMO raid

Thunder Lotus Games, the developers of Sundered and Spiritfarer, have released 33 Immortals, a new 33-player fantasy action game simulating the experience of an MMORPG raid via matchmaking.
Players embark on a quest from Hell to escape to Heaven by fighting demon bosses and “upgrading their soul” to out-level God.
The game draws its inspiration from Dante Alighieri’s the Divine Comedy, and its comicbook palette and top-down action gameplay have been likened to games such as Doom and Crypt of the Necrodancer.
Currently in early access, the game is fully playable on the Epic Games Store and Xbox with two worlds, four playable weapons, and many items to equip.
Thunder Lotus Games plans to update the game until 2026, with three main updates scheduled for Spring, Summer, and Fall this year.
