Summary
Ginger is a new language adventure game that challenges players to master a unique, made-up language, compiling 1000+ words and interpreting internal cross-references in a “novella within a dictionary”
Developed by Soleilvert, the game is written by a creator called Kevin, who explores the theme of linguistics and what it means to understand a new language, while also offering up an interactive adventure for players to embark on.
Players must master the art of speaking and understanding the new language through interacting with a labyrinth of interconnected meanings, and through studying the game’s expansive dictionary.
The game has been likened to titles such as Mu Cartographer and Mask Quest, providing players with a complex and engaging gameplay experience that is both challenging and intriguing.
The demo for Ginger is currently available on Steam ahead of its official launch on 20 March.
