Summary
Mojang has announced that it is updating the graphics for thebest-selling game of all time, Minecraft’s Bedrock Edition.
The update will include volumetric lighting, with sunlight shining more realistically, as well as blocks, mobs and items glowing more.
There will also be changes to the game’s aesthetics to make the game more visually appealing.
This update will first appear in the Bedrock Edition and will eventually be released for the Java Edition too, although there is norelease date available at the moment.
Minecraft Live also announced other updates, such as the ability to ride friendly ghasts and a Spring live event with Jack Black’s version of Steve.
