Playable GTA 6 map mod Project Vice is no more following Take-Two copyright strike

Summary
The GTA 6 map mod for GTA 5, ‘Project Vice’, has been pulled following a copyright claim by developer Take-Two Interactive.
YouTuber Dark Space created the mod based on speculation and “leaked” data, releasing it to the public in March.
Speaking to IGN, Dark Space said he expected the takedown, but stressed that the mod was made for “passion, not profit”.
He added that he believed the map “could have ruined the surprise” of Rockstar’s own map for GTA 6.
It’s the latest in a string of incidents involving Rockstar and Take-Two’s attitude to GTA modding, having issued both takedown notices and job offers to modders in the past.
The motive for Take-Two’s actions this time remains unclear, with the company yet to publically state why it issued the copyright claim.
