  • Gaming publisher Capcom is to release the first proper title update for Monster Hunter Wilds on April 3rd in the US and April 4th in the UK.
  • The update will include a new social hub and a returning monster called the Mizutsune, which has appeared in previous Monster Hunter games.
  • Existing monsters will also be made tougher in the update, alongside the introduction of new quest types and additional outfits for players’ characters.
  • The update will also see the introduction of Arch-Tempered monsters, which are the toughest variants introduced so far.
  • One of these, the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, will be available as part of an event quest from April 30th.
  • Players will also be able to face a returning monster, the Zoh Shia, repeatedly from April 3rd/4th, rather than just once.
  • New player armour sets are also to be introduced alongside new pendants and cosmetic DLC.
  • Capcom is yet to announce any significant overhaul to the PC version of the game, which had suffered some technical issues at launch.
