Summary
Gaming publisher Capcom is to release the first proper title update for Monster Hunter Wilds on April 3rd in the US and April 4th in the UK.
The update will include a new social hub and a returning monster called the Mizutsune, which has appeared in previous Monster Hunter games.
Existing monsters will also be made tougher in the update, alongside the introduction of new quest types and additional outfits for players’ characters.
The update will also see the introduction of Arch-Tempered monsters, which are the toughest variants introduced so far.
One of these, the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, will be available as part of an event quest from April 30th.
Players will also be able to face a returning monster, the Zoh Shia, repeatedly from April 3rd/4th, rather than just once.
New player armour sets are also to be introduced alongside new pendants and cosmetic DLC.
Capcom is yet to announce any significant overhaul to the PC version of the game, which had suffered some technical issues at launch.
