Summary
Former Blizzard co-founder Mike Morhaime established the gaming company Dreamhaven in 2020, comprising several different studios authoring games for various platforms.
One of these studios, Moonshot Games, has now revealed its first title, Wildgate, a science-fiction shooter.
Players pilot ships to obtain loot by gathering artefacts, but must also engage in combat with other players whilst manoeuvring through space.
Prospectors with unique abilities and tools make up a player’s crew, and each ship has turrets and is shielded, with players able to disembark and board opponents’ ships.
There is no official release date yet, but those interested can sign up for a playtest of the game.
