Developer Noble Master Games, which is made up of one designer and one programmer, in addition to contracted artists, has announced that it will be publishingStrategos, a real-time tactics wargame.
While the Steam store page places the game alongside the likes of Civilization, off the back of a screenshot alone, many may be tempted to draw comparisons to Total War: Rome.
However, whereas that game blends strategy and tactics, the emphasis in Strategos is much more focused on battle reenactments and army manoeuvring.
There are 120 armies to choose from, providing 250 units for users to pick and learn about, spanning a variety of historical eras including Greek hoplites, Persian Immortals and the legions of ancient Rome.
