Summary
Sea of Thieves, the online pirate game from Rare, has added another crossover to its expanding universe - this time with sci-fi first-person shooter Destiny.
The crossover is purely cosmetic and does not add any story elements to the game.
Fans can purchase a Destiny-themed ship set and crest, costume and weapons for Ancient Coins (the in-game currency) or for $50 in real money.
The two games have a markedly different Gameplay style, with Rare’s brand and licensing director, Adam Park, stating that “might not seem like an obvious choice”, but the bond of class and co-operative play made for “a great fit”
The crossover is now available to players in the game.
