NetEase’s Marvel Rivals has been suffering from issues with memory usage, resulting in poor frame rates for players
In an interview at GDC 2025, the game’s director Guangyun Chen has announced that the developers are working on a fix, which may be ready for the Season 2 release in April.
Chen stated that the fix will be introduced as a checkbox in the game’s launcher that will significantly reduce memory usage on PCs.
While the director did not go into specifics on how this will be achieved, he did state that the problem is recognised and that the developers are committed to ongoing optimisation.
The game will also see the introduction of new Team-Ups as part of the new season.
