System Shock 3 isn't dead, and we may hear more within a year

Nightdive Studios, who own the rights to the System Shock series, have provided an update on the future of the franchise.
While there is no definitive plan for a new game in the franchise, Nightdive’s director of business development Larry Kuperman did state fans could expect to see a remaster of System Shock 2 at some point.
In addition, he suggested that a remake of the sequel could be in the works at some point in the future.
Nightdive’s upcoming remaster of the original System Shock will be released in June 2022.
The news comes after it was announced in 2020 that Chinese company Tencent had taken over development of System Shock 3 from previous developers Otherside.
