Monster Hunter Wilds is set to receive a new content drop on Friday, introducing arch-tempered variants of monsters, including the purple Mizutsune and the return of a story boss to repeatable fights.
There will also be a new gathering hub and a limited-time festival event, Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, offering cosmetic items from 22 April.
A limited arch-tempered Ray Dau event begins on 30 April, followed by a permanent free hunt from 7 May, while a ‘Capcom collaboration’ is slated for late May.
Tokuda also addressed continuing to improve the stability of the Steam version, with upcoming reductions in VRAM usage and an upgraded DirectStorage version.
Further updates will add 8-star tempered monsters, balance changes, and quality of life enhancements, alongside a wider look at overall gameplay flow.
