Summary
Disco Elysium was a popular RPG that was released in 2019, and it has been revealed that there was going to be a sequel called Locust City.
This was to be an expansion of the original game’s detective odd-couple premise by having you control two returning characters simultaneously.
Each character was to have their own skill tree andthoughts cabinet of percolating ideasthat would have been used in the gameplay.
Thegame was cancelled in February and it is not yet known if it will be released.
Youtuber Jamrock Hoboleaked a presentation about the game which showed that the game was in development.
This showed that Locust City was to star Cuno and Cunoesse, a pair of foul-mouthed kids from the streets of Revachol, who had facets to their personality.
It is a shame that the game will likely never be released as it looks like it could have been a great game.
However, someof the thinking behind this game may be carried over to other similar gamesmade by ex-Disco Elysium developers.
