Amplitude Studios and Hooded Horse have revealed a new aquatic race in their upcoming Endless Legend 2 strategy game.
Named the Aspects, the race is described in the accompanying press material as an economic and diplomatic empire focused on cooperation over conquest.
The race is uniquely tied to the game’s coastal and oceanic areas, spreading across the map by placing Coral Spores that slowly spread coral across tiles, which can then be developed into cities.
The biomechanical reef extends a Gestalt intelligence, named the Chorus, across the territory that provides players with access to unique resources.
Endless Legend 2 is set to enter early access this year, with two further factions to be added ahead of the game’s full launch.
