Fallout 76 is currently testing the one thing that makes every game better: fishing

Summary
Fallout 76 developers Bethesda have introduced a new fishing feature to the end game action role playing game.
Players on the public test server (PTS) can access the feature by going to a new area of the Mire region called Fisherman’s Rest, where three new characters can be found.
Players need to start a quest called Casting Off to get their fishing rod, following a Pip-Boy signal in the Mire.
Bethesda explains that players will be able to cook and eat fish they catch, use them to gain advantages such as reducing ‘hooking’ time, or trade them with other players.
The feature is expected to roll out to the main game in June, following a period of testing and development on the PTS.
Fishing features heavily in other games such as Stardew Valley and Sega Bass Fishing.
