The upcoming game Metal Eden from Reikon Games is due to be released on 6 May.
It features a sci-fi shooter which the developers believe will appeal to those that enjoy parkour.
To support this, they are hosting a speedrun challenge for players to compete in.
To be in with a chance to win a share of the $1000 prize players will need to beat the current best times and ensure their run is submitted by 15 April.
RPS believes the game seems like a ‘fairly flashy, violent sci-fi shooter’, and is worth a try.
