Summary
Civilization 7 fans awaiting the game’s next update can expect it on 22 April, according to a post on the Civilization website.
The update will introduce ten new resources to the game, which will only be available in certain hemispheres or continents to make maps “more personalised”.
There will be changes to how food works, making it more worthwhile to invest in a large population.
The update will also include an endless play option for campaigns, as well as the return of team multiplayer from previous Civilization games.
Developers Firaxis also clarified that auto-explore and new map types are still in development, and will not be included in this update.
