Summary
Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is a spin-off from Deep Rock Galactic (co-op dwarf shooter) announced in 2020, which is in turn derived from the Ancestors Legacy game.
Ghost Ship Games, the developers of Deep Rock Galactic, are holding a closed alpha sign-up for Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core on Steam, and have released a new trailer.
The trailer showcases the game’s features, including roguelite elements, dwarf classes such as the Slicer, an aggressive melee fighter, the defence-focused Guardian, the Spotter, who can soften up beefier targets, and the Falconeer, who commands a winged attack drone, and high-tech gauntlets.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, also announced during the Triple-I Initiative livestream, is set for release on September 17th, having emerged from early access.
