The leak has been attributed to a post on Steam, which has since been edited, and collector website Bluesky, with the latter said to have captured the original posting.
The new game takes the series back to Sicily in the early 20th century, with the story centred on Enzo Favara’s journey from mine worker to associate of the Torrisi crime family.
The game’s publisher, Take-Two, also plans to release GTA 6 this year, prompting speculation that a GTA PC release date may also be confirmed soon.
