Summary
After many bug fixing patches following its release, Stalker 2 developers GSC Game World have outlined future plans for the game via a roadmap posted on Steam.
The post reveals plans for future updates over the next three months, including smarter enemies and allies, with the addition of cover/flanking improvements and limited grenades.
Mutants will soon drop loot when killed and also eat fallen victims, reacting to threats.
Two new weapons will also be added, along with widescreen support and further stabilisation.
A beta for a new mod kit is also planned, along with Steam Workshop support, both aimed at making life easier for modders.
The developers caveat that plans may change, noting “mission targets may be moved from Q2 to later dates in case of Zone instability”.
