Patch 8 is the final major content update for Baldur’s Gate 3, and introduces 12 new sub-classes.
These include the Path of the Giant Barbarian, College of Glamour Bard and Swarmkeeper Ranger, among others.
The update also includes full cross-play functionality, Photo Mode and partial level editing via the game’s modding toolkit.
This latter feature will allow players to create their own interactive objects and NPCs.
Following this update, Larian Studios has two new unknown projects in development and Wizards of the Coast continues to invest in Baldur’s Gate IP, hoping to replicate the success of Baldur’s Gate 3.
