Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has added a new player versus environment (PvE) mission, in which players face the Trygon, a creature with many arms.
Developers Saber Interactive have made four types of pistol available to various classes of space marine, including the Inferno pistol for close-quarters combat.
The game has also been adjusted to allow different classes to use a wider range of weapons during multiplayer matches.
Other additions include the option to create private multiplayer lobbies, and additional skins and painted designs for players to purchase.
The game, a third-person action title based on the Warhammer 40,000 fantasy universe, was released in September 2022, receiving mixed reviews.
