Overwatch 2’s new gameplay mode, Stadium, is set to launch in the upcoming Season 16 update on 22 April.
Stadium will be a best-of-seven rounds elimination mode, with a third person perspective and the ability to buy upgrades and buffs throughout the mode.
When the mode was initially announced it was confirmed that not all characters would be available, and Tracer will not be present at the start.
Blizzard explained that the characters available have been selected because they “had instant ideas for how to make really unique, exciting, and transformative builds”.
The company also suggested that characters with higher mobility will be slightly modified to make them easier to engage with.
Tracer will be added to the mode at a later date, and more characters will be added every season.
