Gaming developer CD Projekt has warned gamers of leaked invitations to test The Witcher 4 game, which the company has confirmed is a scam.
The company has asked gamers to report any invitations they receive via email or social media, and reminded users that the company would make an official announcement if a beta test was to be organised.
CD Projekt previously stated that a sequel to The Witcher 4 would not be released until at least 2027, and the company is currently focused on the release of its new Cyberpunk 2077 game, also in development.
The leak follows a hacker attack on the company in early 2022, when source code for Cyberpunk 2077 and another unreleased game was stolen.
