Assassin’s Creed developer Ubisoft has detailed a year one content roadmap for its new mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, revealing several updates focused on improving player traversal.
The first update will arrive in May and will introduce three new parkour moves, including the “Vertical Ledge Jump” enabling characters to grab onto awnings and overhangs.
Additional traversal updates will be rolled out over the year, with Ubisoft also promising new quests and story additions, a harder difficulty mode, and the introduction of New Game Plus.
The game recently soft launched in Brazil, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with a global release date still to be announced.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is a “weather-appreciate-‘em-up” instalment in the franchise that builds on 2019’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, taking place in ancient China with players controlling Shadya, a previously unseen character from theBib leder family.
