Summary

  • Rock Paper Shotgun reporter Chris Capel confesses that in a year of huge releases such as Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin’s Creed Shadows he has often found himself returning to play Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 fours year old game that simulates mechanic work.
  • He relates how next month’s Car Dealer Simulator, due for release on 29 May, allows players to buy, fix and sell cars and learn more about the somewhat questionable practices of the used car industry.
  • The basic premise is to buy low, fix and sell high, and players will have to both diagnose and fix faults but also cover up problems, using tactics such as clever photography and persuasive advert wording to lure in purchasers.
  • Car Dealer Simulator has a demo on Steam and is made by developers Garage Monkeys, who have also made Car Washer Simulator and Car Rental Simulator.
