In this week’s game news round up, the exceptionally well written and witty news summarising column The Maw, informs us of the following game news:
Yesterday Drop Duchy and Best Served Cold were released, the former combines Tetris with kingdom managing tactics, the latter is set in an alternative history European City and follows a bartender turned detective.
Among Us 3D, Deck of Haunts, and Revenge of the Savage Planet are due for release on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively.
Thursday also sees the announcement of a new game from Paradox Interactive, which appears to be Europa Universalis, and a new pixel art game Yes, Your Grace sequel, set in a world inspired by Slavic folklore.
The column then goes on to discuss the games in more detail, pointing out linkages to other games and if it thinks they look good or not.
The author suggests at the end that The Maw may have returned to its old ways, or it was simply a decoy and the true Maw has escaped.
