Video game developer Bungie has announced a new expansion for its game Destiny 2 called the Fate Saga, which will introduce a new storyline and characters.
The first expansion, The Edge of Fate, will be released on July 15 and will take place on the planet Kepler, where players will battle Fallen Corsairs and Vex Kobolds and gain new abilities by binding their guardian to dark matter.
The second expansion, Renegades, will be released on December 2 and will feature a Star Wars collaboration, including lightsaber weapons and cosmetics featuring Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and General Grievous.
Two further expansions are planned for release in 2026, Shattered Cycle will be released in the summer and The Alchemist will be released in the winter.
The Fate Saga series will introduce a new multi-year narrative arc for the game.
